The situation
BarluParts3D from Bredstedt makes 3D-printed prosthetic sockets and supplies only medical supply stores and orthotists. Every socket is made from the 3D scan the technician takes beforehand. What was needed was a website that explains the product and a protected area where trade customers see their prices and order with their scan.
What we built
- The complete website with product pages, a page for technicians that explains the fitting process in three steps, about and contact, in German and English.
- Registration and login for trade customers. Prices are only visible after signing in.
- Online ordering where technicians choose their options and upload the 3D scan directly as an STL or OBJ file.
- A content management system through which BarluParts3D maintains products and copy itself.
The outcome
Trade customers find the product, the process and ordering in one place, and the scan arrives together with the order. Prices stay reserved for the trade, and BarluParts3D changes products and copy itself.
